Baltimore ABC affiliate WMAR has moved weekend anchor Christian Schaffer to weekday mornings.
“Christian has been covering stories in Baltimore for 10 years as a reporter for WMAR ABC2,” said WMAR news director Kelly Groft. “He now brings his diverse news talents and knowledge of not just Baltimore, but Maryland as a whole, to viewers of Good Morning Maryland.”
Schaffer will co-anchor with Ashley James from 4:30 a.m. to 7 a.m. He joined WMAR in 2006 and has also worked as a multimedia journalist.
