At the Tegna station in Atlanta, WXIA reporter Jeremy Campbell is making a move and it’s more than just a different market.

Campbell announced on his social media that he’ll be switching gears and taking a news director role at WBIR, the Tegna station in Knoxville, Tenn.

“One journalist can make a difference. A team of journalists can change the world. I’m thrilled to begin a new chapter in my career, joining the team at WBIR Channel 10 in Knoxville as News Director! This is a special station known for coverage “Straight from the Heart,” and I couldn’t be more thrilled to get to work on October 28!,” said Campbell in his Instagram post.

Campbell has pioneered some of the station’s most awarded investigative pieces for the Atticus franchise.
