Andy Fales Named Morning Co-Anchor at WHO

By Kevin Eck

WHO has announced Andy Fales will co-anchor Today in Iowa, the morning show for the Tribune-owned Des Moines NBC affiliate.

Fales joins Brooke Bouma and meteorologist Jeriann Ritter from 5:00 to 7:00 a.m., replacing Patrick Dix, who is leaving the station and broadcasting May 15. The station says Dan Winters will replace Fales at 4:00 p.m.

“Seriously….2AM? I have to set my alarm for 2AM?” said Fales. “I’m not going to kid anybody. I’m not looking forward to the wake-up call. But I am genuinely looking forward to sharing what I believe is the best part of the day with Iowans and giving them what they need to get off to a good start and maybe even a smile.”
