Anchors Host WCBS Morning Show Outside the CBS Broadcast Center Following Coronavirus Shutdown

CBS New York morning anchors did what they could to get a local broadcast on the air this morning after the CBS Broadcast Center was shut down, again.

TVSpy reported last night that anchors from across the country were anchoring local WCBS newscasts because the broadcast center has been determined unsafe. Six CBS employees have been diagnosed with COVID-19.

This morning, Chris Wragge and Mary Calvi anchored the entire morning show outside, in the rain.

“#socialdistancing outside @CBSNewYork with @ChrisWragge,” Calvi tweeted with a picture of the duo wearing rain jackets.

WCBS reporters were still in the field covering COVID-19 and the virus’ growing spread.
