After more than seven years at San Antonio’s KABB, morning anchor Monica Taylor has decided to leave the FOX affiliate.
MySanAntonio.com reports that Taylor, who has a history in PR, has accepted the position of director of brand and image at CPS Energy. Prior to joining KABB, she handled public relations for the Spurs.
“With a new baby at home, this door opened just at the right time,” Taylor told the site. “Everything’s better — the hours, the benefits, the new challenges,” she said.
KABB traffic anchor Jessica Headley will fill in for Taylor until the station finds a permanent replacement.
“Monica has done a great job for us since the inception of ‘Fox News First,’ and I wish her the best in her new role with CPS Energy. I’m sure she’ll be a hit for them as well,” said KABB general manager Dean Radla.
