A familiar face at WWAY-TV3 won’t be showing up on Southeastern North Carolina television screens much longer.
Weekday evening anchor Ann McAdams, who also handles the station’s Troubleshooters franchise every Wednesday, is leaving the station Nov. 2, which is Election Day. She said it’s a move she considered for about a month before putting in her two-week notice Tuesday.

McAdams gave this statement via e-mail when asked about her departure: “I love my job, and hope to return to the news business in Wilmington at some point in the future. I had some differences with my management at WWAY that we couldn’t work past” More…
