Albuquerque Reporter Quits to Live in an RV

KOB reporter Caleb James quit his job to live in an RV.

“Just as my TV news career was getting really good I realized most of my time was spent chasing down bad people who were telling me why they were really bad,” he said in the introductory video.

James covered hard news for the Hubbard Broadcasting owned station in Albuquerque, NM. His last day was on Tuesday.

“It was the most meaningful, life-altering, character-building, adventureful, beautiful 4 and a half years of my little 31 year life. Now I’ve decided to do something wacky,” James said in a Facebook post talking about the launch of his new series.

The series is called The Greatest of Us and it will begin next week.
