Cox-owned WFTV is the runaway leader in social in the Orlando market.
The ABC affiliate increased its share by 4.5 percent to 55.1, which is more than double its closest competitor Fox-owned WOFL (24.4)
Orlando has three individuals with a 1.0 or greater share, all from WFTV, but WFTV meteorologist Brian Shields tops the list with a 4.13 Share over the last 30 days. He has the largest total social audience of any individual in the market, and his Twitter page was the third largest page in the market overall.
The ABC affiliate’s sports reporter Christian Bruey saw huge gains on both Facebook and Twitter to place him fifth among individuals in Orlando. On Twitter, he increased his Share by 290 percent to 3.66 over the period and his Facebook audience grew by 55 percent.
