Niezgoda moves within the NBC-owned station family from Hartford station WVIT.

“I’m so pleased and proud to announce that New England native and WVIT reporter Abbey Niezgoda will be joining our family later this spring,” Kenny Plotnik, vp of news for NECN and NBC Boston told staffers in an email obtained by TVSpy. “Abbey joined NBC Connecticut in 2013 and is currently one of the go to reporters on their 11pm show.”
