A Week After Handstand Standup, Julie Tremmel Out at WJAR

Julie Tremmel, the Providence, RI, reporter who brought us the dramatized “how to survive a bear attack” video and most recently did a standup while walking on her hands is no longer with WJAR.

A Media General spokesperson confirmed with TVSpy Tremmel no longer works at the NBC affiliate.

 The Newport Buzz wrote on its facebook page, “Sad news for Rhode Island journalism. Julie Tremmel has been let go from WJAR NBC10.”
