No, that’s not me reminiscing about watching coverage of Friday’s freeway stalemate. It was WDJT-TV (Channel 58) reporter Stephanie Brown reporting from the scene and getting caught up in the moment.

WDJT-TV news director Grant Uitti said Brown and photojournalist Steve Orlowski were heading out on a story that morning when they saw police and sheriff’s vehicles speed by and followed them to the scene of what turned into a six-hour standoff and a rush-hour traffic jam of mammoth proportions. They even pulled alongside the suspect’s vehicle and filmed them before Milwaukee County sheriff’s deputies cleared the scene. More…
