With Virginia Kerr, KMOV-TV (Channel 4) “Awake” co-anchor expecting her first child in October, station managers say they are looking around to see who might keep the chair warm during Kerr’s anticipated three months of maternity leave. Kerr, who co-anchors the show weekdays from 5 a.m. to 7 a.m. with John Knicely, has said she starts her day about 2:30 a.m., which might scare off some potential fill-ins.
Meanwhile, the newest member of the Channel 4 staff is local product Claire Kellett, who has joined Carol Daniel and Matt Chambers on the “Great Day St. Louis” team. More…
