Journal Broadcast Names New GM for Boise Stations

Journal Broadcast Group has named Ken Ritchie VP and GM of ABC and FOX affiliates KIVI and KNIN in Boise, Idaho.

“Ken has been a longtime sales leader at our Boise operations and is well respected in the stations and in the community,” Debbie Turner, EVP of Television for Journal Broadcast Group said in a statement.

Ritchie has been the interim GM at the station since spring. He started at KIVI in 1975 and rose from account manager to general sales manager before leaving the station. He came back as GSM when Journal bought the station in 2002. He was named Director of Sales in 2009.
