CNN’s news anchor Erica Hill is leaving the network it was announced tonight in a breaking story on Anderson Coopers 360. Hill has been with CNN now since 2003, starting as an anchor for Headline News.
She has been working with Anderson Cooper for a while now and had also been an anchor on CNN Tonight from time to time.
Anderson Cooper delivered the news with Hill on screen, saying he “cannot imagine doing this program without Erica Hill and I cannot really express how much Im going to miss you.”
Hill is leaving CNN to take a position at CBS News, She has been a co-host of the Saturday edition of CBS Early Show since 2008. With the pregnancy of Maggie Rodriguez opening a spot she may even find a role with Harry Smith on CBS weekday edition of the Early Show. More…
