KSTP anchor Brett Hoffland has been off the air and not participating in pandemic coverage, and now viewers know why.
The 32-year-old anchor is recovering from testicular cancer surgery. And in a video on Twitter, he says it was a success.
“I’m feeling good right now. There still is some follow-up tests that need to be done,” Hoffland said.

“Cancer is not an easy thing to be diagnosed with, but they expect a full recovery,” he said.
Hoffland is an anchor and reporter for the Twin Cities station.
At 32 years old, I never thought I’d be diagnosed with cancer.
