Diane Sawyer and her “World News” team are thanking viewers for helping them reach a social media milestone: one million Facebook likes.
ABC’s evening newscast’s Facebook page passed the million likes mark yesterday, becoming the first of the evening newscasts to get there. In 2010, Sawyer interviewed Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, when his company hit 500 million users.
To thank fans, the staff put together a “thanks a million” video.
