By Chris Ariens

Some new appointments to go along with the new year at ABC’s World News Now. Jake Whitman, who’s been acting senior producer since last April officially gets the job.

The overnight show is also adding two new staffers: Josh Eure joins as coordinating producer and Greig Todd joins as a broadcast producer later this month.

I am happy to announce two new additions to our staff, one much deserved promotion, and a special thank you.

Josh Eure joins us beginning Jan 3rd as a Coordinating Producer for WNN. He will line produce the entire hour and a half. Josh has spent his career at various affiliates up and down the eastern seaboard. He was most recently an Executive Producer at WWOR-TV.

Greig Todd joins us on Jan 21st as our newest Broadcast Producer. He comes to us from our powerhouse station in Philadelphia, WPVI, where he was an Executive Producer of their morning news. Greig will line produce America This Morning. Both Greig and Josh’s experience in newscast and control room producing will make our team even stronger.

Jake Whitman is now officially a Senior Producer. Jake has been doing the job since April and has done excellent work, especially with all the staffing holes we’ve had this year.

These moves are crucial because it means that we will be at full staffing levels for the first time in a long while!

Last but not least, I want to give special thanks to Jack Sheahan who has worked tirelessly as a broadcast producer for WNN and ATM, often doing both in the same day. Jack has been nothing but gracious and has helped us out tremendously throughout the year.

Congratulations, welcome, and thank you to all.

Nancy
