The NYTimes’ Tim Arango follows up on News Corp.’s earnings report writing, “if it weren’t for the financial success of Fox News, overseen by [Roger] Ailes, the company would be in deep crisis.”
Sanford C. Bernstein analyst Michael Nathanson, tells Arango, “A few years ago they thought growth would come from MySpace, Sky Italia and the cable networks” adding, “Without Fox News the growth rates would be down a lot more than 30 percent.”
