An ABC News insider tells TVNewser that ABC News senior management held an emergency meeting late yesterday “regarding the possibility” of desk assistants, production assistants and writers striking “next week.” The insider tells us “they have a plan in place in the event that this happens.”
The LATimes reported yesterday that WGA members who work for CBS News TV & Radio are considering a work action as well.
This all comes as 12,000 members of the WGA who write for entertainment TV are set to strike Monday morning.
