David Whitehouse writes: “In a country where television tends to feel slick and over-produced, as though it’s hurtling towards you in a big Technicolor truck covered in puke, Red Eye stands out because it might well have been knocked together by a bunch of stoners who, while trying to concentrate on their dissertations, keep getting distracted by pictures of monkeys and strippers.”
