Where’s Fox News’s Democratic Debate?

By Chris Ariens

Fox News and Fox Business have each hosted two GOP debates, and FNC has one more set for March 3. But why no Democratic debates? During the post-debate coverage last night, Bret Baier asked DNC chair Rep. Debbie Wasserman-Schultz if Fox was being considered for any upcoming, unassigned debates. There are four Democratic debates left, two are already assigned: CNN on March 6, and Univision on March 9.

“I’m really happy to be here with you on your network,” she said, adding, “there aren’t a whole lot of Democrats who come on, and I always look forward to our conversations Bret and look forward to sparring with you and some of your hosts all the way through the campaign.”

“So you’re saying there is a chance?,” Baier asked. “I’m saying that I’m here, ready to talk to you about the issues and will do so all the way through this election cycle.”

Sounds like a “no” to us. WATCH:

The RNC has not considered MSNBC as a debate host. In fact, following the CNBC debate in October, the RNC pulled a debate from NBC set for later this month, and gave it to CNN. CNN has hosted the GOP twice and the Democrats once. The other Democratic debates have gone to NBC, CBS, ABC and, last night, PBS.
