When the Mics Go Out On Fox News

It was college radio at its finest, except it was the nationally-aired Kilmeade & Friends show on Fox News Radio. Brian Kilmeade was hosting his radio show Wednesday alongside his colleagues Martha MacCallum, James Rosen and Bill Hemmer when not one, not two, but all three other mics went out. So all four became very friendly with the Fox & Friends host.

“You know what’s great from this part of the studio, we can read all your emails,” said Hemmer as he hovered over the single working microphone.

“We’re going to try to keep doing this,” said Kilmeade, adding that Rosen “has been sentenced to 20 minutes in the control room,” where there was another working microphone.

“I’m over there on the shoestring, you’ve got the can it works,” Hemmer joked as the crew continued to take listener calls, which were mostly about Donald Trump.
