On Wednesday, Rupert Murdoch is expected to “publicly articulate his plans for Dow Jones & Co. for the first time since clinching his $5.6 billion purchase of the company,” writes TV Week’s Michele Greppi. The venue: a News Corp. quarterly earnings conference call with analysts.
Greppi also reports that former GE Chairman Jack Welch will be featured as part of an upcoming CNBC ad campaign, declaring, “I am American business. I watch CNBC.” But Greppi doesn’t rule out Welch making appearances on FBN. “He can say he watches CNBC …but you’re going to be seeing his face a lot on Fox Business Network,” said a Fox News insider.
