“Forgive Sidney Pike if the title of his new book — ‘We Changed the World’ — sounds a bit boastful,” the Boston Herald says. “After all, it’s true. At CNN, Pike and his colleagues did change the world. Or at least the media world.”
In Pike’s book, subtitled “Memoirs of a CNN Global Satellite Pioneer,” Ted Turner‘s former No. 2 recalls “traveling the world signing up customers and news partners to help create the world’s first global television news network, via satellite.”
