Wallace, King Interviewing Jack Kevorkian

All the cablers covered Jack Kevorkian‘s release from prison this morning.

“Doctor Death’s” first post-prison interview is with Mike Wallace. It airs Sunday on 60 Minutes.

“Kevorkian went to prison as a result of his first interview with Wallace broadcast in 1998 on 60 Minutes,” CBS says in the press release. “In it, he showed himself on videotape injecting lethal chemicals into Lou Gehrig’s disease sufferer Thomas Youk, who wanted to die. The assisted suicide activist was then convicted of second-degree murder and sent to a Michigan prison.”

Kevorkian is sitting down with Wallace later today to tape the interview.

He is also appearing on CNN’s Larry King Live on Monday “for the hour in an in-depth interview…”
