TV Newsers Crack The Hill’s 50 Most Beautiful

By Brian Flood

The Hill released its annual 50 Most Beautiful list and some TV newsers join prominent figures, including President Barack Obama, Michelle Obama and Marco Rubio on the prestigious list. In between the former pageant winners and good-looking political aides are staffers from CNN, Fox News and CBS, among others.

Fox News Channel’s Shannon Bream makes the list at No. 10, as does FNC contributor and “pizza aficionado” Michelle Fields. CBS News State Department correspondent Margaret Brennan has a special place in her heart for the 50 Most Beautiful list, as it “helped facilitate an awkward conversation” with her husband.

CNN is represented on the list by publicist Matt Dornic and video producer Alex Rosen, who discusses his gray hair and love of chocolate. NBC News senior White House correspondent Chris Jansing makes the list and tells The Hill that she prefers to wear, “what doesn’t wrinkle and what will fit into a carry-on.”

Perhaps a bit of a stretch for TVNewser purposes, but No. 7 Cassie Roper is the daughter of the former chief of staff for MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough (when he was an elected official, as morning show hosts don’t typically have chiefs of staff).
