A special delivery arrived at the White House this morning, from Academy Award winning actor Tom Hanks. It’s an espresso maker. As CNN’s Jake Tapper, and other former White House correspondents noted, it’s not the first time.
“This is the third time over the last few years that Mr. @tomhanks has sent a brand new espresso machine to the White House press corps,” Tapper wrote on Twitter. Fox News’s White House correspondent John Roberts tweeted a picture of the note that was attached:
