Adweek is out with its annual Disruptors list, shining a light on women leaders in the worlds of media, tech and advertising.
Among those honored, the new leaders of NBC’s Today show, ep Libby Leist and co-anchors Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb.
“Because the Today show is and always has been first and foremost a news show, we are at our best when we are relevant, setting the agenda and leading the way in terms of the day’s news,” Guthrie told us. “Today is a 24-hour operation with changes being made to the last minute,” added Leist.

“We have a huge staff; we’re not the only elements in this,” said Kotb.
