morning show anchors_640For the fourth time in seven weeks, NBC’s Today show is the No. 1 morning show among A25-54 viewers, the demo most important to advertisers of news programs.

ABC’s Good Morning America continues to lead in viewers, and holds the season-to-date lead in viewers and the demo.

Today closed the demo lead with GMA by 64 percent and the total viewer lead by 27 percent quarter-to-date vs. the same period last year. Despite the win, the NBC show is seeing its lowest demo season performance in 23 years – since at least the 1991-92 season.

Meanwhile, CBS This Morning gained nearly half a million viewers (+460,000) compared to the same week last year. For the season-to-date, CTM is up +9 percent in viewers, and the only program to grow its viewer base.
