‘Today’ Show to Celebrate 60 Years

By Chris Ariens

America’s #1 morning show may be inching closer to retirement age, but “Today” is showing no signs of slowing down. So NBC is throwing a party for the venerable morning program. Pit Bull and Flo Rida — who’ve both been a part of the “Today” Summer Concert series — will perform at the party January 12. The show debuted January 14, 1952. And if you’re a fan of the show and looking for a great (after) Christmas gift, pick up a copy of Stephen Battaglio‘s From Yesterday to TODAY: Six Decades of America’s Favorite Morning Show

TVNewser will be at the party and we’ll have a full report for you.
