The site’s welcome message states: “We’ve adopted a new editorial focus for the site: The people of Today. Whether we are interviewing newsmakers or celebrities, taking you behind the scenes in our control room, chatting with fans on the plaza or listening to what viewers and site visitors have to say, we will put the human element front and center. We want this to be a place where people gather to share insights on topics serious and silly, register their opinions and engage with our anchors and contributors.”
