A Fox News spokesperson responds to TVNewser’s item about four boxes:
“Anyone who has even a remote clue about the inner workings of Fox News knows how ludicrous and laugh out loud funny this is. There’s literally nothing on CNN that Roger Ailes would want to copy. He’s made his feelings about their failed programming, and in particular The Situation Room, well known.”

> Update: 5:50pm: An FNC staffer adds: “What’s even funnier is that everyone but CNN knows that the technical concept of four boxes on the screen is not enough to sustain a program during non-breaking news periods which is why their ratings suck.”
