If you were watching the Midnight ET edition of The Rachel Maddow Show Wednesday night, you noticed something odd. It was old news.

The show began with a report from the Washington Post about Pres. Trump revealing classified information to Russia’s foreign minister; a story which broke exactly one month earlier, May 15. You can see the real time (6/15/2017, 12:02 a.m.) at the bottom of this image which is a screengrab from monitoring service TVEyes.

Maddow continued with her typically long A block until about 12:20 a.m. When the show returned from a break, it was back to the present, June 15, reporting on the shooting at the congressional baseball practice earlier in the day.

“When the error was noticed at the beginning of the re-air it was corrected at the first available break,” an MSNBC spokesperson said.

The error was blamed on a technical issue.
