Top Cable News Shows in November Were…

Fox News had the top 14 programs in total viewers and the 12 of the Top 15 programs in the key A25-54 demographic in November 2014. Delivering its best month of 2014,”The O’Reilly Factor” was the number one program in cable news in total viewers, averaging 3,019,000 total viewers and second in the demo with 521,000 viewers.

“The Kelly File” won the key demo, averaging 546,000 A25-54 viewers and finished second in total viewers with 2,734,000. “CNN Tonight,” “Hannity” and “Special Report with Bret Baier” round out the Top 5 shows in the demo. “The Five” and “On the Record with Greta Van Susteren” join O’Reilly, Kelly and Baier for a total viewer Top 5 that is dominated by FNC.

Reruns of ABC’s “Shark Tank” on CNBC cracked the Top 15 in the demo with 219,000 viewers, but came in 28th with 469,000 total viewers.

“CNN Tonight” finished 3rd in the demo and 16th overall, while Anderson Cooper’s “AC360” came in 6th in the demo and 15th overall. “The Rachel Maddow Show” was MSNBC’s highest-rated show in both categories, ranking 17th in total viewers and 20th in the demo.

“Forensic Files” led HLN in total viewers with 329,000, finishing in 39th place. The top-rated show in total viewers on Fox Business was “Varney & Co.,” which ranked 81st overall.
