The Top Cable News Programs for February 2016 Are…

By Chris Ariens

Fox News had the Top 14 cable news shows in February, among total viewers, and the Top 8 among the A25-54 demo. CNN’s Anderson Cooper and MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow took the 9th and 10th spots, respectively, in the demo.

As we told you earlier this week, Fox News won the month among viewers and CNN won the month in the prime time demo. But when you break down the three prime time hours (8, 9 and 10 p.m.), cable news’s No. 1 show, The O’Reilly Factor was able to top CNN’s Anderson Cooper at 8 p.m. for the month in the demo (as well as total viewers). O’Reilly averaged 3.2 million total viewers, up +8 percent vs. last year.

Because this ranks regularly-scheduled cable news programs, the highly-rated debates and primary/caucus nights are not included.
