By Chris Ariens

  • Elizabeth Vargas will return to work at ABC News next week. Vargas has completed a second stint in an alcohol rehabilitation center. Vargas first checked in to rehab last November, returned to ABC in January, but had a relapse in August.

  • Expect to see Ashoka Mukpo on NBC News sometime soon. The network is already promoting “exclusive interviews” with the Ebola survivor/freelance cameraman who had been on assignment for NBC News when diagnosed with the disease earlier this month.

  • Buck Sexton, a guest host for Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and Glenn Beck, will get his own show on Beck’s TheBlaze. Sexton will continue hosting his daily radio show when the primetime TV show debuts early next year.

  • Scott Warren, who was the Senior EP of Sam Champion‘s Weather Channel show, is no longer with the channel. Warren had been with Weather Channel for a year. Previously he worked for KTVU, KTLA and Yahoo!
