> Dan Rather‘s case against his former employer CBS, continued yesterday. In court, Rather said, “corporate overlords” working in collusion with Washington powers intruded in “far too many newsrooms.” Rather is claiming documents are being withheld from him. In a statement to TVNewser, a CBS spokesperson says, “We are absolutely confident that the documents in question fully support the CBS position. When and if there is a trial in this matter, all such documents introduced at trial will be made public.”

> Dateline premieres a series of survivor stories in a new special, “10 Scariest Escapes From Death.” The hour-long report, anchored by Hoda Kotb, airs Sunday at 7pm on NBC.

> Cable, broadcast and talk radio hosts are remembering William F. Buckley, Jr. who died today. The cause of death is unknown, but he had been sick with emphysema. Buckley hosted PBS’ Firing Line, from 1966-1999. He founded the National Review in 1955.
