> Marvin Kalb and Richard C. Hottelet, along with Casey Murrow, son of Edward R. Murrow, will explore the life and legacy of the legendary broadcaster during a seminar at George Washington University April 24. Kalb was the last correspondent personally hired at CBS News by Murrow.

> ABC’s George Stephanopoulos will MC and CNN’s Christiane Amanpour gives the keynote at the International Center for Journalists’ awards dinner. The NY Times’ John Burns will receive the Excellence in Journalism Award at the dinner Nov. 12, just eight days after the Presidential election.

> TODAYshow.com had its best month ever since its relaunch 13 months ago. The Spitzer scandal, the Van Ryn-Cerak mistaken identity story, and a piece on a 17-month-old baby who can read helped give the site record page views, video streams and unique visits.
