> Nightline’s Life and Death series continues tonight with the story of a 37-year-old mother of three who is dying of Lou Gehrig‘s Disease. This week, the ABC show is chronicling “the journeys of four people facing life threatening illnesses as they struggle with their families.”

> Chris Dinan, CBS Evening News’ newly appointed senior broadcast producer, credits Harry Smith with advancing his career. Dinan, who worked for CBS Radio from 1987-1992, once worked with Smith on a project. Smith recognized his strong writing skills and the rest, as they say, is TV history. Dinan celebrates 20 years with CBS later this month.
