  • Coleman Breland has been named president of Turner Network Sales. He will oversee the domestic distribution, sales and marketing for Turner’s 10 networks, including CNN and HLN.

  • Bill Neely filed his first report since joining NBC News from ITV News Monday. The report, which aired on “Nightly News,” was about the growing threat of starvation in Syria.

  • Journalists in Nairobi staged a protest outside the Egyptian embassy in support of jailed Al Jazeera reporters, the AP reports. Nearly 100 people took part in the march, with some protesters holding signs that read “Journalism is Not a Crime.”
