When you’re the front-runner, everyone wants a piece of you. NBC’s Brian Williams spent part of the morning with Sen. Barack Obama for a two-part interview that airs tonight and tomorrow night on Nightly News.
This morning it was ABC’s Diane Sawyer with the big get. Obama also appeared on CBS’ The Early Show, but that story was a profile which included a month-old Harry Smith interview with the Senator.
In fact, the Obama campaign thought the interview would air before the Iowa caucuses. A CBS spokesperson tells TVNewser, “CBS News reserves the right to make editorial decisions about our broadcasts, including when to air our own interviews.”
