“Is CBS planning to revamp its morning news show?”
That’s what FNC’s Roger Friedman asks. We already know that’s true — but his theory about the revamp is new:
“The new best-case scenario would be a CBS Early Show with CNN’s Anderson Cooper and NBC’s Campbell Brown as cohosts. Where exactly that would leave beloved anchor Harry Smith is anyone’s guess.”
More: “The Cooper scenario is not so unattainable, CBS insiders feel… But the Brown idea is the more interesting one. Since she was passed over for the role of Couric’s successor at the Today show, Brown has made no secret of her unhappiness…”
