Terror Plot: Early Morning

Fox News Channel and CNN provided nonstop coverage of the terror plot overnight. MSNBC was relatively slow to react. Initial break-in times coming shortly.

FNC started simulcasting Sky News around 1:50am ET. FNC’s David Asman handled domestic cut-ins. CNN/U.S. ran a crawl until 2am when it switched to CNN International. MSNBC ran a news update around 2:15am, then went back to tape. MSNBC started taking the story seriously around 3:30am. A couple e-mailers said the anchor was stumbling.

Fox & Friends started around 5:15am with Steve Doocy and Brian Kilmeade. E.D. Hill joined at 5:45am.
