It’s been a big year for ABC News chief meteorologist Ginger Zee. She gave birth to a baby boy, controlled the GMA drone and even sat down with TVNewser to discuss her first big break.
Zee always knew she was fascinated with weather, but it took her a while to realize she wanted to be on television. She was studying meteorology when a professor encouraged her to look into TV. Zee took the advice, landed an internship and fell in love. Just don’t call her a “weather girl.”
