Survivor Speaks: ‘I Was Waiting for Him to Shoot Me in the Head’

Vicki Gardner, the sole survivor of a shooting captured on live TV, tells FNC’s Greta Van Susteren she was certain she was going to be shot in the head, because that’s what the killer had already done to his former colleagues. Fired WDBJ-TV reporter Vester Flanagan shot reporter Alison Parker and Adam Ward at point blank range Aug. 26 in the middle of a morning show liveshot. Both died at the scene. Flanagan later killed himself. Gardner, who was being interviewed on the morning show, was shot in the back and survived.
