This morning on “Fox and Friends,” it was revealed that Elisabeth Hasselbeck will be away from the show for a “couple of weeks” while recovering from surgery. The exact procedure is not known, but co-host Steve Doocy said Hasselbeck is “doing just fine, she’s on the mend.”
Replacements will rotate, with Kimberly Guilfoyle filling in for Hasselbeck this morning.
“We heard from her [Elisabeth] last night and she said she is feeling good. So, in a short time, she’ll be back on the set,” co-host Brian Kilmeade said.
Hasselbeck suffers from celiac disease and has written the book, The G-Free Diet: A Gluten-Free Survival Guide.
