NBC’s Meet the Press with Chuck Todd finished No. 1 among the Sunday shows this past week.
Averaging 3.23 million total viewers, the Oct. 20 edition of MTP topped ABC’s This Week with George Stephanopoulos by +19% (+514,000) and CBS’ Face the Nation with Margaret Brennan by +7% (+202,000).
The legendary NBC Sunday show was the No.1 among viewers from the key A25-54 demo, beating ABC by +39% (+218,000) and beating CBS by +15% (101,000) in that category.
An additional 1.1 million total viewers and 278,000 A25-54 viewers watched MTP through rebroadcasts on NBC and MSNBC.
Face the Nation delivered 3.03 million total viewers and 680,000 A25-54 viewers on Oct. 23, second-most among the Sunday public affairs programs, and ahead of This Week in the aforementioned key measurements.
However, the ABC Sunday show remains in second place season to-date among A25-54.
The broadcast edition of Fox News Sunday hosted by Chris Wallace on Fox delivered 1.31 million total viewers and 374,000 demo viewers. The trio of cable replays delivered 1.91 million total viewers and 328,000 A25-54 viewers. Altogether, that’s roughly 3.22 million total and 702,000 A25-54 on Oct. 20.
