NBC’s “Meet the Press” was on top this week, besting CBS’ “Face the Nation” by +160,000 Total Viewers and +31,000 A25-54 viewers.
But NBC and CBS are both down compared to the same week last year. “Meet the Press” is down -6% in Total Viewers and -7% in A25-54 viewers, and CBS is down -1% and -10%, respectively. “Fox News Sunday” is also down in both ratings measurements, -4% in Total Viewers and -3% in the demo.
Univision’s “Al Punto” and ABC’s “This Week” were the only two public affairs shows to grow year-over-year. “Al Punto” is up +21% in Total Viewers and +33% in A25-54 viewers, and “This Week” is up +21% and +7%, respectively.
Cable replays of “Fox News Sunday” averaged a combined 2,050,000 Total Viewers and 435,000 A25-54 viewers. Rebroadcasts of “Meet the Press” added 1,098,000 Total Viewers and 461,000 A25-54 viewers.
“Face the Nation” is based on the first half-hour only, as the full contiguous hour aired in just 56% of the country.
