NBC’s Meet the Press with Chuck Todd was the #1 Sunday public affairs show in the adults 25-54 demo this Sunday, but fell to second in average total viewers. MTP was #1 on March 6th, both in adults 25-54 and in total viewers. Despite the week-to-week decline, the March 13, 2016 edition of Meet The Press was up +45% in total viewers year-over-year, and up +55% in adults 25-54.
CBS’ Face the Nation finished second in adults 25-54 this past Sunday, but moved up to #1 in total viewers. The program finished second in total viewers on March 6th. The March 13, 2016 edition of FTN was +18.5% in total viewers, year-over-year, and +30% in adults 25-54.
This Week with George Stephanopoulos held third place in total viewers and adults 25-54. The program was down week-to-week, but up year-over-year in total viewers (+21%), and adults 25-54 (+5%).
Despite its fourth place standing, Fox News Sunday continues to thrive in year-over-year performance. The March 13, 2016 episode was up +61% in total viewers from the March 15, 2015 episode, and up +70% in adults 25-54.
Univision’s Al Punto attracted 748,000 total viewers and 391,000 adults 25-54 on March 13. The 391,000 average in the news demo is a +45% improvement from the comparable episode in 2015 (March 15).
