No Bob Schieffer? No biggie for CBS’ Face the Nation, at least in total viewers.
Face the Nation’s first episode with new host John Dickerson was the top-rated Sunday public affairs program in total viewers on June 7. However, ABC’s This Week with George Stephanopoulos won the key A25-54 demo for the second consecutive week.
NBC’s Meet the Press with Chuck Todd was pre-empted due to the Men’s Final of the French Open. Fox News Sunday combined with cable replays for 2.89 million viewers. Replays on FNC averaged a combined 1.68 million total viewers and 344,000 in the demo.
Face the Nation is based on the first half-hour only, as the full contiguous hour aired in just 76.3% of the country.
